Lapo is an outstanding member of the wine club, created with true passion for wine trips, Greek flavours, modern winemaking, beautiful aromas and Greek nature. It consists of Moschofilero variety and some fine drops of Agiorgitiko. A rose with karats of gold on the bottle, organic, low yield, with flower perfumes. A beautiful art de la table. A tribute to Greek beautiful wine history, elegance and to unique earth flavours. It was made after acquiring a world-wide sense of winemaking secrets, due to many years of global travel almost in every wine corner of the planet. This bottle consists of a globe-trotting lifestyle that was finally expressed in a winemaking process, which was exclusively focused on a unique and rare Greek land, in order to create a masterpiece. There is only a hand crafted limited run of 700 bottles from Lapo boutique collection. Every bottle has its own selected number code.

Characteristics

Lapo is a dry rose wine made from carefully selected organic grapes of Greek origin. Grapes with pink skin, rich spicy character and excellent acidity. It reveals intense flavours of rose and fresh pomegranate. Fine hints of red grape fruit before a cool refreshing finish.

Vineyards

Moschofilero vineyards stretched over the Arcadian plateau, are located in the “Protected Designation of Origin” area of Mantinia. At an altitude of 650 meters, grapes mature slowly and cultivation takes place on an organic basis. Grapes are remarkably aromatic, redolent with rose floral aromas. Weather conditions are excellent. Agiorgitiko organic vineyards on the other hand, are cultivated in Nemea region and are linked to the myth of Hercules, who was worshipped in the area and had its own sanctuary. This red wine variety is one of the most important indigenous ones in Greece, very aromatic with amazing fruitiness.
